Cellphones and cameras are getting more and more powerful by the day and we have already reached the point where video can be played on a big screen from a pocket sized device. Atlona has gone to the next step and brought you a microHDMI to HDMI cable. This cord will connect microHDMI (from devices that have little room for connectors) to your High Definition HDMI Display. Best of all it supports all of the amazing features from the latest version of HDMI, including 4K & other resolutions and 7.1 sound. Don’t let your media hide on your phone, bring it to life on your HDTV with Atlona’s AT14047, microHDMI to HDMI cable.

Atlona Technologies, continuing with their solutions based manufacturing strategy, releases an HDMI extender featuring bi-directional IR. Atlona’s AT-HD-BIR40SR extends HDMI signal extremely long distances without suffering signal degradation. Bi-directional IR allows users to control units connected from either end of the HD-BIR40SR. While the similar unit, AT-HD-IR40SR, was extremely popular amongst many installers and Control companies, a common request was the addition of Bi-directional IR. Now with the release of the new HD-BIR40SR, users are now capable of transmitting IR both directions with this HDMI1.3 extender.

The AT-HDBIR40SR is one of the first and only options to extend HDMI and bi-directional IR via baluns on the market today. With this revolutionary unit, users will have the advantage of allowing any Control System to power desired displays on and off, as well as perform input changes or any other similar task. Atlona’s HDMI1.3 extender is capable of extending distances up to 130ft over Cat5/6/7 and resolutions up to 1080p. Along with 3D support, HDCP compliance and full EDID/DDC pass-though, this unit will support all of the latest HDMI audio formats for Hi-Fi audio to go along with a pristine picture. The Extenders are featured with extra wire channel for the IR frequencies up to 60 MHz, which will allow controlling all devices available to the market. This Atlona the HDMI v1.3 Extender with Bi-directional IR is a perfect solution for installations that require an extension of the HDMI and IR, while providing bi-directional IR communication via cost effective CAT5/6 cable.

The analog to digital transition in the AV world is almost complete, but still plagued by sync issues. As a solution based manufacturer of Audio Video accessories, Atlona Technologies strives to eliminate the issues end users and installers face, no matter the application. When desired HD sources are unable able to recognize displays, and vice versa, this inability to display the image properly if at all, can make the difference between a successful install, or having margin eaten away from return visits. Atlona has officially released a guaranteed fix to sync issues with the new HDSync. This companion to their previous DVI EDID Recorder (AT-DVISync) can emulate the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) information. It can record EDID/DDC (Display Data Channel) information of any desired HD display, and place that recorded information between the source and the conjoint component (ie: switcher, extender, processor, etc…). Essentially, this unit will trick the source into thinking that it is connected to the display the entire time.

Atlona’s HDSync stores the EDID information and recalls a default EDID setting in non-volatile memory that supports HDCP handshaking. AT-HDSync allows your HDMI source to boot directly from AT-HDSync, so users can detach the monitor from the HDMI connection at any time while installing. In addition, the HDSync can read and store the EDID of your HDMI display and give users the ability to modify the EDID and upload the modified EDID to displays.
